| | | BC, I expected more from John Stossel than to allow Sen. Rand Paul to get away with answers like this:
Sen. Paul answers: “Well, that’s a judgment call. There’s probably 16 million families around the world who might disagree with that.” And there are probably 200 million families around the world who might AGREE with Dr. Fauci's original position on gain-of-function research, especially if it helped researchers understand more of the characteristics of viruses, how they mutate, and what can be done to help develop vaccines.
Of course, Sen. Paul won't acknowledge any of that, because in his mind, those benefits don't exist. And anyone who proves otherwise can be dismissed by associating them with the "oh-so-evil" gain-of-function research funding.
What a slimy bastard that guy is.
Oh yeah, and John Stossel also won't grill him on his anti-vax stance, especially his belief that nAtUrAl iMmUnItY is more effective than the vaccine itself.
(BTW Stossel himself is vaccinated, boosted, and a BIG believer in Big Pharma, especially Pfizer's Paxlovid.)
