Laidlaw Environmental Services, today announced that 31.5 million shares had been tendered under Laidlaw Environmental's offer to purchase all the outstanding shares of Safety-Kleen Corp. This, together with the 601,100 shares already owned by the Company, represents 54.2% of the outstanding shares of Safety-Kleen. Too bad the management of Safety Kleen won't allow the deal to go through. LLE's offer was extended until Thursday but SK's management won't hold a meeting to vote until Sunday. newsalert.com Charles
