i would like to believe your position on Palestine people however, demonstrations here in use and the world present a different picture.imo
I’d like to believe it myself, John. But - it’s just an optimistic possibility. Im sure that such an outcome is possible. I was replying to a post saying that the destruction of Hamas would be only a “break” in that organization’s activity. I think this is not necessarily the case.

Most Palestinians live in the West Bank. Most of them do not like Israel - and some - or many - are affiliated with various “resistance” organizations. BUT - formally, they recognize Israel and do not insist on its destruction. They’re also far more prosperous and lead far more comfortable lives than people in the Gaza Strip.
