There is some speculation at Macrumors.com forums that tonight’s event might be more than some computers getting a faster chip, the M3. Maybe something related to computer gaming. 2 or 3 years ago there was a rumor that the Apple TV would be in 2 versions, one for the usual TV stuff and one with a faster chip that could handle games. The game version hasn’t come out yet, so maybe it happens tonight, or some other game product is shown, maybe related to the VR headset. The event time in early evening could indicate something of wider interest than just a new chip.
