I would really like WoW Day Trader, but the cost isn't $200, ITS FREAKING $1,200. I think you had a typo. I use WoW Professional 5.0. Its about $320 with tax. The Deluxe has gone up in price because they've included the ability now with that to create custom indicators and systems. It used to only cost $50, but you couldn't do anything with it. If I were you I'd pick either the Deluxe or Professional. The second most important thing is being able to have the computer scan charts for me, to keep the time down. If Deluxe has that too, get the Deluxe. If cost is no object, get the Day Trader and tell ME how it is!!

I've done some messing around with directional movement yesterday and today. I really hadn't messed with that one in awhile. I put a 12 day DI+, 12 day DI-, 12 day moving average of DI+ and 12 day moving average of DI- on one plot. I looked at all kinds of crossovers. In the past I've written customer indicators to put bollinger bands on DI+ and DI-. I think that crossovers, without large price moves as you pointed out, and following the price trend result in picking up plenty of short term moves in the 1% to 10% range.
