Doing well in school is easy for those in a good social, economic, and family environment. I'm pretty sure the children of the millionaire Black Americans will do well like the kids of rich White people, of course there are exceptions.

In middle and poor classes that odds go against minorities and also white people, but much more against black people. It will take a long time to undo the generational poverty, alcoholism, drug addiction, single parent up bringing, and discrimination and denial of their rights for over a hundred years after slavery ended.

When opportunities arose in entertainment and sports they excelled. As opportunities arise in all fields the low expectations always assumed by white society will be disproven.

Look at ww2 A Japanese American UNIT WAS THE MOST HIGHLY DECORATED in WW2. Fighting the Nazis while their family was imprisoned back home in the U.S. The white German/Italians WERE NOT IMPRISONED

Look at the Tuskogee airmen....it was assumed that African Americans could not fly planes and they ended up the best or one of the best bomber escort groups in WW2.

What it all comes down to is OPPORTUNITY being EQUAL and pre-conceived notions being proven wrong.

While the U.S. has many advantages over other countries their is always room for improvement. The shooting after shooting of Black people that were unjustified led to the TAKE A KNEE crowd. A very peaceful protest for which they had every right to do.

When OJ was found not guilty I witnessed many black people I knew thru work or whatever cheering. I asked one guy who was originally from South Carolina and is 80 today and still kicking, if black people thought OJ was guilty and if so why the cheering? He said HELL NO he's guilty as hell!! So why cheer? Because they found it ironic that so many innocent black people accused of murder were found guilty and a obviously GUILTY black man was found not guilty!!
