Wharfie, Ramaswamy is making two mistakes with respect to PooTin:

1) He thinks he can bargain with a man who believes the very existence of Ukraine is a threat to RuZZia's own existence.

2) He thinks the rest of NATO will go along with his appeasement of someone that Ramaswamy himself agrees is an "evil dictator."

Personally I think Ramaswamy is reflecting the views of Hindu nationalists in India, who still want to make nice with RuZZia and break up the torrid love affair between PooTin and Xi Jinping.

In other words, this is Ramaswamy's moment of "magical thinking."
