11/22/96 Signs Purchase Pact to Supply Echo Cancelers for Use with Nortel Switches Nov. 21, 1996, Coherent Communications Systems Corp. (CCSC) said it negotiated a purchase agreement with Nortel Ltd. for CCSC to supply EC-6000 and EC-7000 Series 2 Digital Echo Cancelers for use with Nortel's switches. Under the contract, CCSC said its products will provide an echo cancellation platform for wireline and wireless network applications, and will be available to Nortel's global network of over 375 regional offices.
