Re <<situation>>

all very interesting

my understanding is that Russia shall establish naval / air base in Libya, now, and by and by, lateral-do-same in Egypt bloomberg.com "Putin’s Move to Secure Libya Bases Is New Regional Worry for US"

should such be, Mediterranean and Red Sea and the Canal, and and and all heavily influence at one end, even as the other end already heavily influenced

am uncertain how much appreciation Nato / EU has for such a situation, but doubtful there is anything short of WWIII that would contain / constrain the situation

In the meantime the Ukraine <<situation>> seems to be degenerating into a state where President Zelensky directly firing officers amongst one layer below the top command, a dangerous move, and in some cases some folks amongst the layer are being forcibly removed by parties unknown by use of gifts (grenade disguised as wine) that disguises bombs

This state of the situation shall unlikely last very long before blowback happens, but am also suspecting end-game is nigh for the hot-phase of the conflict
