Eric,
Can you drive down the road for 300 miles on just $3.00 worth of energy? I don't think so!
Exactly. NO ONE can drive 300 miles on $3.00 worth of energy.

Here in California, $3.00 can buy you 12 kWh of electricity.

A Tesla Model 3 is reported to go about 3-4 miles on a single kWh:

My Pious Prime can get 4 miles per kWh.

Based on that, you would need 75 kWh to go 300 miles.

Where in the U.S. can you get 75 kWh of electricity at 4 cents per unit?
