I still don't see it. This print is almost all negative energy. How much lower can that go? We have the SPR put for oil to refill around $70/barrel. Gasoline is already near $2 which has been midterm average. Labor market still tight. All this celebration and we're still at 3% vs Fed's 2% target.
Did your medical expenses go down like they claimed this morning?
Yes, housing should fall but I doubt rents do too much because assessments have already jacked up property taxes and insurance premiums have skyrocketed.
Add the fiscal debt spending stimulus and I don't think the Fed wants to risk cutting. Especially when the market moves up like this morning and makes people feel rich.
