Ramsey, Yeah, but what if the stock market was down 90% in $US. Don't you think that anything less than complete meltdown is already priced in or are they just pricing there companies at 90% off because they feel generous today? Complete meltdown, at least of the region would be felt worldwide. The powers do not want that and are working on the problem. This does not seem too big for them to handle. Look at the US stock market/economy over the last fifteen yrs. I've been doom and gloom before and almost always been wrong. I don't believe that the end of the world is here yet either. The future is going to be fine. What if over the next couple of years things got back to normal and the stock markets reach their old highs up 1000%. I don't know about you but I like the odds a lot better now than when the press and everyone is telling you how great things are, like back at the end of '93. BTW Indonesia still kinda scares me.
