O Wise One, Clearly the Marvelous E! along with our famous Wizard, were carrying the LSI banner forward during this critical time. Glad to hear that your IRA has fattened up as we chase those bearish types out of their contrary positions... And it has really carried over to my favorite techs elsewhere (I especially enjoyed the VECO run, to be gloatingly honest!! -- check it out)
TSO Rationale RE: Semi Equipment: If END USER demand for semi chips does fall greatly in the world, THEN, semi-conductor chips will be built SOMEWHERE. THEREFORE, the demand for semi equipment will not fall very much if it happens that the chips don't get built in Korea (or elsewhere in Asia). It just means that the chips will get built elsewhere, and the demand for semi equipment will remain high. On that basis I bought AMAT, DPMI, VECO, TER. The cash has rolled in <g> --so far
Super posts OWW -- so many I won't try to address them all... Will try to at least catch the highlights and stay in touch from here..
We're on the right side of the run with LSI, now, wouldn't you agree.. so I can wait for the next levels...
Oh, BTW, I calculated a rough value for QWST's fiber when they complete the initial installation next year -- based it on their sales of fiber capacity to date... came up with a value per share of $194 (current 67)... It may not be tooo good a short sale <g> But don't you think LSI is more of a sure thing in the long run??? Cheers, OWW!! TSO
