Petal. Other than attempting some sort of learning experience, I see no real point in having "several" stocks in a $3000 portfolio. Beginners got to start somewhere, but jeez, if a big loss of principal here can't be handled, then the person shouldn't be in the market, as you say. Maybe not even be in stocks at all with only $3000.

I should just stop. I feel I am wasting way too much time on Harshu Vegas and machinations around a $3000 portfolio. -g-
