People might have spoken some time ago. But now it's different people, in a different time, under different circumstances. I'm sure you don't think that minds are like reinforced concrete = once set, no change is possible. Singapore similarity is of course an option as people can speak again. Or Taiwan could apply to EU to take up the Brexit vacancy. Or start Mq's fancy new-fangled tradable citizenship Federation of Freedom.
