Upon the advice of the thread, I've cut positions in all "unnecessary" stocks so I now only have two. But now I find myself with about £1500 in cash. I don't want to buy more of either CCL or CUTR because I fear a recession (all the signs are pointing to one (even though they've been pointing to one for the last 12mo)) which will likely result in further declines.

Any suggestions? Should I continue to operate with a majority cash position (I have the ability to use excess savings etc (atm, it's pocket money that I don't need) but don't want to do that until a serious crash occurs) or should I invest everything all at once?
