It is. And it also just saw a huge pop in the past week (+5.43%). Given the debt loads of many small-caps + worsening consumer situation it should be much lower. FWIW I have been playing puts for a long while on IWM and it's been good. My point is the way the market has been moving the past few weeks was enough of a red flag for me. With any of the index I don't give them the same "value" mindset as I would anything else I own. When I see moves like this it's a decent put setup. With rates at 5.33% and holding + inflation coming down this now makes tightening even tighter. Reverse repo is going to be drained and my guess is QT will stop soon after. Lot of those small-caps have debt maturities hitting in 2024 too so good luck there. I just had some value positions drive up 20-25% based on either no news or okaish news. I will take my wins and look the other way for a bit. -Sean
