Hi Mike- Like most people, I'm scratching my head at the success of the sub-1K PC and more to the point, WHO is actually buying these units? I agree with you that computer literate folks would not settle for these units. I believe most people, (except CPQ marketing folk) have underestimated the number of people who have never bought a PC before. The availability of the sub-1K PC and the popularity of the internet meshing at the same time results in the explosion of sales IMO. Congrats to CPQ for recognizing the potential for this untapped market and going for it like a downhiller going for the gold!
