The Sam Altmam firing might have something to do with it! What happened?

Looks like MSFT is trying to bring him back, with a new board that will, presumably, make him bulletproof going forward. But is that a good idea?

Sam Altman said once that it was very important that the board have the capacity to fire him as part of a system of checks and balances. They've done it. Wow. Why? If now they simply resign under pressure to clear the way for Sam's return, without further explanation, it might well be in the best interests of Microsoft and its stock short term, but is that in humanity's best interests??

Obviously, something spooked this board and we need to know a lot more about what led them to take that action.....
