Hi Johnny,

The higher interest rates have hurt the marginal sales.

Vehicles are more expensive,AND THE ONLY ONES BEING PRODUCED ARE HIGHER END AND SOUGHT AFTER BY THE HIGH WAGE EARNERS.

Used are down in price, as they should be, as many have deferred the new car purchase and added higher miles on their cars = less value.

Banks have pulled in their standards and require a higher credit score to be bought.

Money down and great credit scores are always appreciated - with a higher rate.

Bad credit and no down , or even negative equity on their existing loan, = fix your sled and keep on driving it.

So buy O'Reilly Auto part stores.

The average age of used vehicles keeps on climbing, as do new vehicles prices .

New car departments are losing money on low volume and high gross used cars are the savior.

I still think the EV market has been hugely overestimated and losses/write offs are coming.

Charging is a hasle, unless you have solar charging at home. Add to that EV's are expensive and you have a limited market, which I think has been grossly underestimated by woke CEO's playing politics and not demand recognition.

We SEE!

Bob
