SuperG......update It has been a long time but I have not been idle. Researching this stuff takes a lot of time. It took me hours working my way through the Intel newsgroups trying to find a case for an "extended ATX" form motherboard (the INTEL DK440LX). The newsgroups over there are as slow as molasses in January. One would think that INTEL could do better. Maybe they haven't upgraded to the latest processors:} I think I will split SuperG into two machines, SuperG95 and SuperGNT. SuperG95 will be a Win95 midrange machine. I will probably keep the ABIT LX6 as the base configuration and maybe add one of the TYAN boards as an option. The ABIT has a big following because it is good for overclocking. I don't think that crowd has quality as their number one consideration. The In Win Q500 case gets a pretty good review so I will probably change to that for the base configuration to keep the price down. PC Power and Cooling will be an upgrade. SuperGNT will be a more reliable higher end machine. Windows NT will be the base operating system. It will be designed with data integrity in mind. It will probably have an INTEL motherboard.
