the idea is if there is a significant premium people will sell the etf shares and buy bitcoin outright. if there is a discount it will make sense for people to buy the etf and then make demand for the company to transfer bitcoin to them directly. so there is likely to be very lil premium or discount once the etf becomes real. of course i am not sure what the new managment fee will be for the etf going forward but it will have to be priced competitively or people will just liquidate.
