"And then it's uneconomical to do further recovery."

The well flowed oil and paid for itself in under 60 days, several years later is still pumping about 55 bbl a day, that is well over $1,000,000 per year.

Without fraccing no further recovery was possible, unless of course you wanted to dig an open pit 1200 feet deep. Then you would have to deal with several fresh water aquifers as well as some salt water aquifers.

Where would you pump all that water to?

I guess you could recover some lithium from the salt water brines but you would still need huge holding ponds miles across.

It is obvious Marxist naive amateurs like yourself do not have any real answers for anything.
