How does one determine something is a potential danger vs an actual danger? You can't till someone is beaten or killed. Precisely my point. So you take precautions like the librarians and the MIT administration did. But that is no basis to accuse the protesters of attempted murder. You have strayed way into The Minority Report territory. Because the Jews obeyed MIT admin's order to go home. The topic under discussion was Cooper Union College. You are aware there were two rallies that day? At the college, just to be clear. They sure do seem like it. Oh please. Criticizing Israel doesn't seem like you are being anti-Semitic unless you are already cocked and loaded to "see" that. But it doesn't make it the case. Who is offended and alienated? I want names. What? You expect me to name millions of people? It should be incredibly obvious that calling anybody who criticizes Israel an anti-Semite when they aren't is going to offend them. The idea that anybody or groups of people are above criticism and can do no wrong is a vile idea.
