Hello, Rob. I discovered something interesting in IDT's 10Q. Here is the text.

"Rights of Others. In exchange for payments towards product development costs, IDT licensed the right to make, use and sell the Winchip C6 to a third party."

Do you or anyone else have any idea about the third party? Just let me throw in some wild guesses: IBM, TXN or what??

I believe it is NKK of Japan (steel company comglomerate I think)

Baoho,

It is my recollection form a newspaper article in SJ mercury news
quoting Perham. I am 99% certain. Also true according to sources
in the company. NKK has only the rights to the first version of
the C6, this seems like a free 5 million (investment amount) to me.
