My dad was robbed about half a dozen times in the 70's and early 80's.

Not once in the 90's.

His head teller was killed in front of his eyes in 1983. She died in his arms. He narrowly missed being murdered when the dude ran out and shot at him.

It is so much safer these days. You have no idea.

It just shows how Social Media has outstripped the human brain's ability to process information logically.

Regardless of how emotionally charged a person is, due process serves the public good in ways that are not always evident to the victims.

If the dude had murdered my dad, I would feel no different. Everyone deserves due process and their constitutional rights, no matter how reprehensible they may seem.
