| | | Well yeah, it is make believe. There has never been one single piece of evidence for any of the 5,000 or so religions on earth.
Not one piece.
Religion is just superstition by another name.
And when one tries to build a society on things that are not true it doesn't work well. Almost every single nation where they have supplanted modern education, science and logic with religion has a failed society.
Like much of the middle east, Central America, Africa and the east. And then the people migrate out of their failed countries, but want to bring their ideology with them, unaware the reason they had to flee, was their ideology e.g. central American countries that are hell holes of violence, and very religious, but not much education, so they stream north to America looking for safety.
The societies that are flourishing are pretty much all atheistic countries like the Nordic countries, Baltic countries, Iceland, much of Europe, etc and the one's failing are the religious countries.
That is not hyperbole, it is demographics.
