Sounds a lot like the Lingenfelter designs, twin turbos, ig horsepower, and ultimately large depreciations.

Top stock drivetrains have historically held the best value.

The early ZR1's have not done so well, C7 Z06's still seem to hold their value.

I'd be ordering a Z06 and the electronic suspension or Z51 wheels. The magnesium wheels were nice with certain colors , but pricey and I'm not sure resale held up on them.

I've not kept up with the new changes.

I'm going the other way and now have 4 57 and 58 Fuel injection systems with as many 283's rebuilt for the 283 and 290 horse versions. Finishing up blocks I bought 30 -35 years ago with projects. That stuff has gotten hard to find and pricey too.

As of yesterday, I've finished up my 1962 409hp 409 SS Impala. Need to buy new tires and it is a driver. Still looking for a few mldgs that are no longer reproduced - still lingering effects of the pandemic and older guys retiring.

Cold up here in Wisconsin this last week. After a fantastic Indian Summer that gave us almost all of November in the 50's.

Finally time to work on my restorations. Play time.

Send some pics on restoration progress.
