The 1962 409hp 409 SS Impala sounds nice. I'm partial to the 1963 409s because of the race king of my hometown. Everyone knew that beast. The 283s will live forever. I just checked the 2017 stingray prices for a coupe with L2, Z51 package. I did not get the electronic suspension but it is great. I couldn't get past the Corvette dealer to see the Cadillac ATS-V with the 454 HP. Anyway, I have 14,500 miles on my C7 and it's worth about $50,000. The key is low mileage. Some guys store their corvettes for Winters. No way. The summer tires add to the excitement during the Winters up here. One never knows when they will lose traction.
