The correct Datsun color is #874 Champagne/Mahogany. The owner must have had it in the sun too long and cracked the dashboard. Mine was in the garage all of its life and has the dashboard intact. Also, the original exhaust pipes formed a diagonal from driver to passenger side. That was inefficient. My new stainless steel pipes now go straight down the driver's side to a dual exhaust muffler. The pictured one had the revised set-up of the pipes. The original price was $12,467.00. In stock form it wasn't a handler. The ZX's became a luxury car with handling second. The best handler was the 1974 260Z. It was neutral and it corrected the quirks in the 240 Z's handling. In the 240, the rear suspension wanted to fold up when it was pushed hard around corners. All it needed was a rear stabilizer bar. I had both of those cars.
