My religion inspires mercy and compassion and truly loving the sinner despite the sin. It does, for some. However, Others take something entirely different from your religion; And still others have mercy and compassion and love that is inspired by something other than your or any religion; And still others have different notions of what is or is not a sin requiring mercy and compassion from others rather than MYOB. Your statement is true as far as it goes but ultimately meaningless beyond the individual. I'm in favor of whatever works for anyone without bothering anyone else.
