I think GOOG is so deeply integrated into most people's lives (YouTube, Chrome, Android, Maps) and dominant in internet advertising that ChatGPT isn't going to have much affect on their business.

What is it that you think might happen using ChatGPT that would cause Google's business to decline?

I thought ChatGPT was sort of interesting, but it's main use case as far as I can tell is quickly writing multipage essays. I don't use it at all after playing with it a bit a few months ago. I don't need to write lots of essays.....

Automated telephone customer service seems like a great use for AI. So far, the telephone customer service calls have not improved. Automated customer service wants to give point of data information, and cannot handle complex questions, and a human is still usually required (for me, at least). If ChatGPT can't disrupt that space, what is it going to do in other areas that is so wonderful?

But billions of dollars are being spent on this new space, doing something, but I don't know what.

Google is a "platform" in so many segments, and platforms tend to kick ass.
