Why can't the afford that? They are the lowest cost producer. And Mr. Bonesaw is not the most rational person in the world.

To be clear, I am not saying that they will. But there is a limit to how long they will subsidize their competition if others keep pumping and spoiling their plans.

As an FYI, I have the same read as Q. Oil should be a buy somewhere between 64 - 68, depending on positive momentum and what not. But you have to wonder, if a war in ME, attacks at the red sea, and a very likelihood of annexation of the oil fields by Venezuela does not slow the fall in oil prices, how much demand really is there?
