OT Hum1, the Seminoles got shafted. Heather Dinich of ESPN nailed the final rankings. I don't ever recall a year where she has missed. Heather most likely has connections on the selection committee as her articles have always detailed the rationale for the rankings. Seems like this year, the committee modified their criteria so as to include Alabama - best teams now vs the best teams over the entire season. The committee even found a way to take a shot at Michigan, who was caught up in a cheating scandal, by forcing the Wolverines to play the Tide in their semi-final game.
