The Jews didn't kill Jesus. Nor did Pontius Pilate.

Nowhere in that passage (1 Thessalonians 2:14-16) did Paul collectively blame ALL Jews for killing Jesus.

even as they have of the Jews:

15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:

16 Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

He is speaking of the lineage of corrupt Jews who ruled their nation and faith as well as all who supported their efforts.

Perhaps you missed this important point.

8 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Paul clearly blamed the Jews for the death of Jesus. And he blamed them for killing a list of prophets throughout a thousand years.
