Napoleon

What to say? Yikes, what a mess. This reminded me of Excalibur. There was a great movie in there somewhere, but somehow it got lost on the way to the theater. The battles scenes- especially Austerlitz- were excellent. Really well done- and detailed. But the movie covered too much time and was just too weird- and where was the chemistry between Napoleon and Josephine? I'm still looking for that. I would have liked to see "Napoleon the early years"- showing how he became who he was, OR a movie about the major elements of his life- OR a series covering the vast arc of his life.

Love to know if anyone else saw it. We saw it with a large group and had quite the discussion about it.
