Napoleon is creating a lot of controversy in France for the way it distorted and even falsified parts of Napoleon's life. I imagine if there was French production about George Washington that did something similar there would be enormous controversy.

I heard some radio coverage of the release which included Scott basically telling the complainers to f off.
