Saudi Arabia and OPEC are dissatisfied that the global price for oil keeps falling even after they committed to reducing their own production. They are blaming U.S. oil producers for their increasing output and are contemplating flooding the global markets with oil for the next six months to bankrupt their cartel's competition in the U.S. Putin has flown the Saudi Arabia to prevent this from happening as this would hurt Russia's oil exports the most and their war efforts in Ukraine.
