I think the Zacks ratings are mechanically derived. And the most important ingredients to the formula are earnings surprises and altered estimates from analysts. Ligand qualifies with its smaller then expected losses and rising earnings estimates for 1999. I think the recent share price movement goes into the rating too. Andreas
