Reagan destroyed the unions

The only union I recall Reagan destroying was the air traffic controllers which were government employees. It was the first thing he did that I agreed with as I was a liberal college kid at the time. Public employee unions are the bane of rational government. California is run by them and most of the private sector doesn't care as they don't know any other way.
