Agnes Varda is today’s google doodle:

In case you are not familiar with her:

Director Martin Scorsese described Varda as "one of the Gods of Cinema". [1] Among several other accolades, Varda received an Honorary Palme d'Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival, becoming the first woman to win the award, a Golden Lion for Vagabond at the 1985 Venice Film Festival, an Academy Honorary Award, and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for Faces Places, becoming the oldest person to be nominated for a competitive Oscar. In 2017, she became the first female director to win an honorary Oscar. [2]

Her most famous film is Cleo from 5 to 7, which is part travelogue of 60’s Paris. To say more would not be appropriate. It’s a classic, (RT 92%), available for free on kanopy, as is her 2nd most famous, Vagabond (RT 100%) with Sandrine Bonnaire, not that i’m recommending the latter. Both are on criterion.

Speaking of Sandrine Bonnaire, she teamed with Isabelle Huppert in Claude Chabron’s La Ceremonie, one of my favorites. It’s a class struggle thriller. ( criterion, RT 94%)
