Doug: Check out the following URL: hummingbird.com It should tell you pretty much what you want to know about Hummingbird's profit performance history. As for the short position, your guess is a good as mine. I suppose the shorts are betting that HUMCF can not sustain this kind of continued growth. Feedback from Hummingbird, on the other hand, tells the story that their share of the X windows market is increasing. Their host explorer line is growing. I think it is approaching 10% of their total sales. I believe Lehman Brothers are interested and might begin to initiate coverage (don't know when). If this happens, and they recognize the true worth of this company, we might see other US analysts take notice and get the stock price to reflect the true worth. Was this the kind of info your were looking for? Maybe I have been invested in HUMCF for too long but I do believe they have a good success story. It appears that it is taking a little longer than I thought for this story to get its due recognition. Yes, the shorts are of some concern.....no doubt. Martin
