I have not tried that gouda, but I have it in my head that I had a gouda that was incredible -- obviously not incredible enough to remember the name. It'll come to me.

This is a cheese that was developed in VT up the road from me by some friends. I helped in some of the early pieces of their work on the farm while I was trading full-time - a stress reliever, if nothing else, in exchange for cheese. It was organic raw milk only, but they retired and sold the rights to this place that was producing it under license. Not organic and not raw and not quite as good, but worth a try if you like harder cheeses:
