I think that Iomaniacs who question whether or not people will dump Zip for another, better drive, will be shocked at how fast they actually do.

Zip= old technology. It is very expensive $/MB compared to most other drives out there. The best bargain is, of course, SyQuest SparQ, but this is beside the point.

The point is, Sony is coming. Iomega is justifiably worried, and Iomaniacs who blissfully sing the praises of Zip while staring upwards in the coming rainstorm will drown.

People will dump Zip in a heartbeat if there is a better product out there.
