HI E_K_S,

That's very true.

For several years I would give my two nephews 100 shares of stock that I owned and liked. I had to pay a $50.00 fee for actual delivery of the shares. I'd frame tham and put them under the Christmas tree.

Then one year I bot them their 100 shares each and asked for the certificates and was told they couldn't do it anymore.

I still have the 200 shares transaction. It's quite old now.

I think those privileges went away with the digitization transition and doing things cheaper and more efficiently.

There is always that worry in our digital world.

Banks can also lose your CD.

That's why the only bank I buy a CD from is JPM.

Let's face it we're at their Mercy!

I mean even cash can become illegal, much like they made holding gold coins illegal.

We need to control our politicians, by watching the issues and vote for those politicians who fight for us keeping our freedoms.

In olden days cash was kept in the mattress or a bra. LOL

We need to pay attention to those who embrace the total control of our lives by the government!

Pray they are honest and represent our desires and wishes.

Above all vote for those who do not want total control and throw around mandates like "they are smarter than we" poor taxpayers"!

Admittedly it is a scary world for those who through discipline and hard work have amassed wealth.

With the wrong crowd being in power, it could be a target on our backs. That's an ugly thought for we who are in the land of the free!

We need to have "faith" that , "we the people", retain the right to hold onto our hard earned wealth.

Sadly the political attacks that have gone after Trump's billions, are a bad precedent that does not build my confidence.

I share your concern.

Bob
