Re: D3, K2, calcium

I've been taking D3 and K2 for several years. My first CAC scan several years ago showed zero arterial calcium. My 2nd scan two years ago showed zero again. So far, so good.

K2 directs calcium to bones and teeth, and prevents accumulation of calcium in the arteries. However, I wonder about calcium balances in the rest of my body. I have developed quite a problem with eye floaters the past few years, so I wonder about calcium accumulations in the eye; and I wonder about excess calcium directed to the bones and teeth, possibly causing exostosis (bone spurs).

A few years ago I started having problems with buccal (dental) exostosis. Does my D3 + K2 practice have something to do with the problem? If it's causing problems in my mouth, maybe it's causing problems elsewhere, too.

Online searches don't turn up much info on the possibility of K2 involvement with exostosis, but if K2 is directing calcium away from the arteries and into the bones, well, I just have to wonder.
