Also - it occurs to me that as a percentage of total time spent by all americans on the inetrnet, the time spent on YHOO is a sreally small percentage. We spend lots of time on Big and Small Sites. The advertising revenue on the web will be spent more or less proportionately to the percentage of total 'web time' time spent on that site. Even advertisiing revenue from small sites are being used - for eg : linkexchange.com is doing this.
Excess spae on larger sites is being auctioned cheaply : eg flycast.com. YHOO's revenue as a percentage of total web advertising revenue will only decrease even as YHOO's total revenues increase.
