Having listened to it what Peter Zeihan had to say in many of his videos, including the ones you just posted, my conclusion is:
He is going for clicks over accuracy and accountability.
He should not be taken literally as he basically opines that, China is doomed because of their demographics, and one child policy
Japan is also doomed for the same demographic reasons.
Now, Germany is also doomed because the U.S. Navy is not going to be policing the oceans trade lanes.
UK is doomed unless they get a helping hand and a strong alliance with the USA.
And so on…..
Basically, the nation that is not doomed and has a strong future per Peter, is the USA. However, he is strongly anti-Trump judging the remarks that he’s made. Therefore, one can conclude that he is basically a mouthpiece for the current US administration. Pro Israel, pro, USA, anti-Russia/China, anti-Trump.
Even though I think, DJ that you are somewhat biased on China, I would believe your statements on China’s future rather than his prognostications.
My German friends are not optimistic about some of the political games and decisions that have been made. However, again, I would take their version and predictions of the future for Germany over his.
Spin and clicks will make money until people who follow him catch on.
