"Discipline & Patience"

Al Frank of the Prudent Speculator hasn't been mentioned here in a while. Controversial methods - he bought companies (many beat-down small caps) way out of favor, was willing to hold them for years. Portfolio always over 100 stocks, if I remember. His investment newsletter had the best long-term record of any value newsletter tracked by Hulbert.

He emphasized patience, diversification, and risk management. He called it PASADARM.
Part of his risk management was adjusting his use of margin.

I was a fan.
