I took some liberal arts classes at liberal UC Berkeley where we were EXPECTED to parrot back in our own words what the professors wrote in books (often ones they wrote) we had to buy... We had to pay tuition for the privilege of calling it learning. AI uses the NY Times in a similar way but doesn't forget what it reads. Probably doesn't take a law degree to shred the argument as I just did but entitled pricks at the NY Times want the headlines or just believe they are special and some lawyers are happy to take $1000 an hour or more to massage their egos.
